In the 1960's, Holiday Magazines art director Frank Zachary sent out a team of artists to report. The subject matter would range from the growth of post war industrial Europe, to the current happenings on Wall street and articles about specific cities.

Artist Don Kingman went to San Francisco for an article titled“Even the air is different in San Francisco”  showing the landscape of the city through ink drawing.

Famous English Illustrator Ronald Searle was also a regular contributor to Holiday Magazine.
